Literature Text

Twisted little dandelion
To a child it's something beautiful
But all it is to me is just a weed
An interruption in a field of green
And when the yellow color fades away
It turns a soft and silent shade of gray
A gust of wind will make it break apart
It hits the ground to plant another seed

Twisted little father of mine
To a child you're something beautiful
But all that I can see is hateful greed
You're an interruption in my field of green
And now your hero image fades away
My love for you has turned a shade of gray
Your act of lust will make us break apart
You start a new life, plant another seed

I realize that you love her more than me
I realize I'm no longer part of you
Behind this pane of glass I can't see through
Behind these hazel eyes, I see your face
I realize that I took to long to see
That I don't want to be a part of you
Behind this pane of glass, I always knew
Behind these hazel eyes, I've won the race.
My father......

I write too much about him. He's not worth the text. Ahh well....
